EARLY RELEASE - FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21st @ 11:35am
The Augustine F. Maloney Elementary School houses students from Blackstone in grades three, four and five. Our current enrollment is two hundred seventy-five (275) with an average class size of twenty-one students.
The academic program features heterogeneous classrooms and inclusion of special needs students. Student achievement and assessment are the primary priorities. Faculty members are committed to on-going staff development and the concept of standards and expectations.
At the Maloney School, the education of our children is a shared responsibility of families, school and community in an effort to support our students to become lifelong learners and contributing members of society. We believe that our children should have a sound base of experiences that are essential for later learning, an excitement and curiosity for learning, and a strong sense of self-esteem. In essence, we believe that families and educators must support each child's unique development, respect and celebrate individual differences, and promote each child's fundamental right to learn in a safe, educationally appropriate environment.
The Maloney School is one of five (5) schools in the Blackstone-Millville Regional School District. All are dedicated to providing a program of educational excellence.
