2009 – 2010 School Year

Genevieve Fall Fundraiser – over $7,000 raised this year

Family Apple Picking – many people enjoyed an afternoon at Wojcik’s Farm over 2 weekends

Scholastic Newsletters – funded for all students

October:
Box Tops 4 Education Drive – 10,000+ box tops collected

Fall Festival – several vendors, food, band performance with over 75 kids and adults enjoying the day

November:
Food Drive – over 700 cans of food collected and delivered to the Blackstone-Millville food pantry

Uno’s Fundraiser Night – great night out for families

December:
Cookies and Milk with Santa – over 125 family and friends enjoyed a snack, craft and meeting Santa

Santa’s Secret Workshop – 5 days of volunteers working while children shopped for family gifts

January:
Family Movie Night – close to 300 people attended, great family fun

February:
Another Food Drive – over 350 cans of food collected and delivered to the Blackstone-Millville food pantry

Worcester Sharks Family Night – event planned with MESPA – almost 100 people attended

March:
Winter Bingo – a great success – lots of families in attendance

Gertrude Hawk Fundraiser – over $5,000 raised this year

Art to Remember Fundraiser – over 50 kids drew some fabulous pictures

Rocket Camp – a cafeteria full of students building and then launching rockets

April:
Boys’ Bowling Event – over 170 boys and guests enjoyed an evening of bowling and arcade fun

May:
Staff Appreciation Week – 5 days of gifts and goodies for the over 100 staff at JFK and AFM

Paw Sox Family Night – over 70 tickets sold to this popular family event

Girls’ K-3 Luau Dance – approximately 170 girls and guests had a ball dancing the night away

Girls’ 4-5 Bowling Event – over 30 girls and their guests have purchased tickets for an afternoon of bowling

Another Art to Remember Fundraiser – another 25 students drew pictures

Another Uno’s Fundraiser Night – great night out for families

June:
Food Drive – scheduled for the first week of June – we are hoping to collect 1,000 items

5 th grade Field Day – will provide ice cream and special t-shirts for each student
