Tessellations

Our class has been investigating geometric concepts. One special kind of geometric pattern is called a tessellation. Tilings and mosaics are common synonyms for tessellations. A plane tessellation is a pattern made up of one or more shapes, completely covering a surface with no gaps or overlaps. Our tessellations are created using pattern blocks.
