One of the big things the U.N. is talking about is Iraq. Saddam Hussein is the leader of the country called Iraq. Congress is debating if they want to pass a war resolution on Iraq. Congress is debating a resolution from President Bush seeking permission allowing force against Iraq. Now the congress has passed a resolution against Iraq. Most people who took part in the News Currents poll did favor invading Iraq. Before the terrorist attacks Vice President Dick Cheney thought the U.S. should not invade Iraq. In the United States only 67% support the Bush administration’s ideas for attacking Iraq and getting rid of Saddam Hussein.

For the last few months there has been a sniper on the loose for shooting (killing) people with a rifle. Good thing they caught the person and now they’re deciding whether or not he was from Iraq, Afghanistan or another country. The world now uses a special machine to figure out a murder case by tracking down their finger prints. These are facts that I had to look up and I hope you enjoyed learning about them.
