Beanie and the Dreaded Wedding was the worst book I ever read.
NOT! This is a quick book to read. It
was written by Susan Wojcieckawski. If you like Junie
B. Jones you’ll like this book for sure.
This book is about a little girl named
Beanie. She is asked by her favorite aunt to be in her upcoming wedding. At
first Beanie said yes in a heartbeat. Then Beanie told her best friend Carol
Ann. When Beanie told Carol Ann about the wedding Carol Ann tells her about the
time she was in a wedding. She was younger. Carol Ann told Beanie that her
mother was walking on the rug in the church when the heal
of her shoe got stuck and it ripped the rug. Carol Ann told Beanie that she
should lift her feet really high so she
won’t rip the rug. After Carol Ann told Beanie stories about when she was a
flower girl Beanie doesn’t feel the same way she did before.
Beanie has to make a decision on
whether she should keep the promise of being in the wedding or back out. Read
this terrific book to discover her decision.
I think this is a great book for
children ages 7-12. This book has 126 pages but has pretty big lettering. I’ll
tell you this, if you like hilarious stories then this book is made for you!
