Do you like poems? If you do then this book is for you. It is called, “If I Were In Charge The Rules Would Be Different!” The poems and drawings are by James Proimos. I would recommend this book to all audiences because the poems are funny and make you laugh. One of them is called, My Cat. It goes like this: Why is my cat so wheezy? Why is she constantly sneezy? There’s a very good explanation for that. My cat is allergic, so very allergic, my cat is allergic to cats!

This book has all different poems in it. There are poems about dogs, cats, pigs, and cavemen, moms, dads, teachers, and bullies. One that I enjoyed reading is called: “I See A Lot Of Me In My Daddy.” It goes like this: I see a lot of me in my daddy, especially when I jump into his bed, and I snuggle up real close, and see my reflection in his big bald head!

I would give this book 4 ½ stars. You can check out this book in your local or school library.
