Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I’m going to tell you about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.  It was written by J.K. Rowling.  Harry is thirteen and in his third year at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  Everything starts out fine at Harry’s house.  But things start to go wrong.  First he forgets to have a slip signed for him to go to a small town only for witches and wizards.  After that he almost gets hit by a bus!  Once Harry is at school strange things start to happen.  He feels incredibly vulnerable when he gets near the very odd guards that are at Hogwarts this year. The guards have no eyes and can only sense feelings.  They are attracted to happiness.  Then Sirus Black, a wizard who killed 13 people, one wizard and 12 “muggles (non magic people)” starts going after his friend.  Sirus is also Harry’s godfather and a death omen.  Why is Sirus doing this?  How did he get into Hogwarts?  Harry, Ron, and Hermione try to figure out how he got by the guards.  They never sleep, can “see” through invisibility cloaks, and Sirus can’t disappear somewhere and reappear on Hogwarts grounds.  Harry finds some strange secrets about his teachers, Sirus, his friends, and Ron’s strange, overage rat Scabbers.  Will Harry solve the mystery of Sirus Black? You’ll have to read this astounding book to find out.
