Have you ever met a teenage girl who drank, smoked and hated everything including her parents and herself?  No, I haven’t, but one close friend and many others in middle through high school have. Now here is your moment to know how it might be experienced.

A compelling story of how a teen-aged girl goes through her differences, feelings, and a slight thing called life is told! This is a factual story by the author, Shannon McLinden. In this novel called, “The Me Nobody Knew, she expresses her innermost thoughts about how she starves herself to become skinny and how to stop her addiction…..drugs. The author is offering a lifetime of support for girls everywhere.

Another book that is similar is a book by Simon Pulse called “Go Ask Alice. The author went through Alice’s diary and found what she went through. She also goes through changes in life and everywhere she turns a friend asks her to do drugs. Finally she gives in and gets addicted. In her diary she says “Once you’ve had them, life isn’t anything without drugs.”

Well I hope you find the time to read these brave, truehearted stories, which I could not put down. But be careful for these books might make tears run down you face.
