*My Mom Married the Principal*

Do you have a favorite book you like to read? The book I liked is called “My Mom Married the Principal” by Margaret Bechard. It’s about a kid named Jonah Turman whose mom married the principal, Mr. Decker. Jonah is already in the eighth grade and his life is already begging to be a disaster. He likes a girl named Katherine Chang and doesn’t have the nerve to ask her out. She might not like him in that way. But he has bigger problems. Travis Hunter was one of his worst enemies but now he is generous to Jonah because the principal is his stepfather. Travis almost got him in trouble with the teacher. I’m not going to tell you what he did. You have to find out yourself. Now I don’t want to give the ending away but I’ll give you a little hint about what happens to Jonah. Jonah gets upset with Katherine. That’s all I’m saying. Now ask your mom or dad to go to the public library and ask for “My Mom Married the Principal’. I’m telling you it is a great book.
