
If you like poetry that does not have to
rhyme or can rhyme then you might really like this page. There are many types
of poems that you can write; there are also various ways to decorate your
poetry. Some kinds of poetry you will see on this page are color poems,

show you is the acrostic poem. To do an acrostic poem you write a word down and
write a phrase starting with each letter in the word. An example of an acrostic poem is below this

poem. You
write a pyramid poem by putting a noun and then 2 describing words under the
noun. Under the 2nd line you write 3 describing words . Under the 3rd
line you write a question or statement about the title. Look below for an

Another
poem is a Haiku. A haiku is a poem about nature. The first line has 5 syllables.
The second has 7 syllables,
and the third line has 5
syllables.
The small tree grows tall.
Animals live in the tree.
Birds leave in the Fall.
Another poem is a couplet. A couplet is a poem
that rhymes, and has 2 lines
The opossum ate
The flower blossom.
