Picture Day

As I stand in line my heart is fluttering

As I sit on the stool I hear muttering

The camera flashes

As I walk out I feel blind

What’s my picture going to look like?

That’s what on my mind

This kind of poem is a quatrain poem

This poem is a diamante where the first line is a subject and the second line is 2 nouns, 3^rd line is 3 verbs, 4^th line sentence (4 words), 5^th line 3 verbs, 6^th line 2 nouns, 7^th is the line subject, and the verbs in the 3^rd and 5^th line they end in ING !!

Puppies

Cute, fluffy

Playing, leaping, smiling

Dogs and puppies cuddle

Loving, caring, sleeping

Obedient, nice

My last poem is a Pyramid poem which is a poem that the 1^st line has the subject, the 2^nd line has 2 adjectives, the 3^rd line has 3 words with ING, then the 4^th and last line has a describing sentence. Here is an example.

Snow

Wet, cold

Falling, sledding, playing

Do you want to go sledding? I do.
