This page is about awesome diamante poems.
This page also has haiku, and tons more. If you stick to this site you are
going to get to see some amazing poems. So what are you waiting for c’mon in.
The first poem
that you are going to see is a diamante poem. Diamante poems work like this, on
the first line there is a noun. On the second line there are two adjectives
related to the noun. Next, on the third line there are three verbs ending in
ing. Then on the fourth line there is a four word sentence that has to do with
the noun. After that the process is repeated backwards. The only difference is
on the last line has a noun that is related to the word. Here is an example.
Loud, plump
Walking, gobbling squawking
Cooking, eating, tasting
Tasty, delicious
Thanksgiving
The second poem is a pyramid
poem. It works just like a diamante incept it is only half as long and also
instead of a 4 word sentence you have 2 sentences. Here is an example.

Fat,
helpful
Giving, helping,
making
He comes down the
chimney. Ho-Ho
The next type of poem I will be talking about
is a haiku poem. A haiku poem is a poem related to nature. The first line has 5
syllables the second has 7 and the third has 5. Here is an example.

Snow is on the
ground.
This is a snowy
season.
You can ski in it.
