Indigenous People of North America

The students researched indigenous, or native, people of North America.  They identified their group’s food, clothing, art, and customs.  They also created models of shelters used by people that lived in North America long ago.

Students presented information on the Navajo people. 

 

 

 

This group researched the culture of the Seminoles.

 

The Sioux lived in the Dakota region of North America.

 

 

 

Students present information on the Inuit people.  Their winter home was made out of snow and ice blocks.

 

Indigenous Hawaiians lived in hupa reed huts.
