 • Check the application for completeness
 • Attach teacher recommendations, if available
 • Attach official transcript
 • Provide postage and mailing.

 • Need to know if a student is applying online (transcript request forms available)
 • Would like students to apply to at least one college by early November
 • Want all applications into the guidance office by mid-December
Why?…
 • We would like to process them before Christmas break
 • Colleges with a rolling admissions policy fill the slots early/selectivity increases
 • Increase in # of students applying early decision/action results in increased selectivity

If a student wishes to visit a college campus on school time, they must adhere to the policy stated in the student handbook. We would like everyone to have the opportunities for visits, but we believe in responsibility and accountability.

 • If your college bound student has not done a scholarship search on the web, it is strongly recommended that they wait no longer. We recommend collegeboard.com and fastweb.com but we have a list of additional web sites posted in guidance.

 • We post important information in the guidance area on a regular basis and students receive monthly bulletins in their homerooms. Please ask your son/daughter to keep you updated on our information.
