Spelling Bee Clubs meet once per week, after school, to practice for the school's Annual Spelling Bees. Word lists are provided to each participant. Practices consist of a variety of games that encourage students to learn the correct spelling of the words.

The two Spelling Bees are held during the school day on the Friday preceding April vacation. There are monetary prizes granted to the first, second and third place winners for each of the two Bees. Participants in the April Bees are not required to have attended the weekly practices throughout the year.
