Mrs. Kathryn Tucker, Housemaster of the Blackstone-Millville Regional Middle School, is pleased to announce the 1999 National Junior Honor Society inductees. In the October 21 ceremony, 28 eighth grade students were inducted into the BMR chapter of the honor society. New members include Andrew Abbondanza, Victoria Barrett, Corey Bevilacqua, Stephanie Bibbo, Tanya Breault, Robert Cook, Danielle Cote, Tanya Cotnoir, Oliver Cowie, Megan Daignault, Stephen Davies and Lauren Falardeau. Also inducted were Kaitlyn Folds, Jared Ganis, Matthew Gautreau, Alex Gray, Steven Gregoire, Nicole Killian, Steven Lindstrom, James McCarthy, Holly Ochaba, Tiffany Ochaba, Robert Paterson, Brian Pouliot, Ronald Rowers, Jennifer Rheaume, Kristin Stefanik and Peter Tympanick.

Ms. Melody Fagan, advisor to the honor society, also announced the slate of officers for the 1999-2000 school year. The officers are Tanya Breault-president, Jennifer Rheaume-vice president, Lauren Falardeau-secretary, Danielle Cote-treasurer, Holly Ochaba-tutoring coordinator, and Nicole Killian-service coordinator.

The induction ceremonies were conducted by the honor society's past officers of the honor society Kati Gittleson, Jesse Rivet, Emily Colton, Leigh Ryan and Lindsay Karloff. Speakers at the ceremony included Mr. Michael Buckley, chairman of the District School Committee, Mr. Aldo Cecchi, superintendent of schools, and Mrs. Tucker, housemaster of the middle school.
