Monthly Update

Welcome Back! I look forward to meeting all of you and I am excited to be your principal. As you may know, I was the principal at Millville Elementary School for the past 4 years.

Prior to being a principal, I taught preschool, grade 5 math/science, and grade 8 science. I was a pediatric occupational therapist (and still am) for close to twenty years before I became a teacher. Working with children energizes me and my goal is to help each child achieve her/his full potential. I enjoy working collaboratively with staff and parents and welcome your input!

The “complex’ will now be split into two schools – I will be the principal for grades kindergarten through two; Mrs. Brown will be the principal at the Augustine F. Maloney School for grades three through five.

Please feel free to contact me any time during the year if you have any questions or concerns.

Principal

Special Thanks

During the summer our custodians (Mr. Sheehan, Mr. Gallagher, and Mr. Scott) have been busy cleaning the school, moving items around the building, and making preparations for the first day of school. In addition, our administrative assistant, Mrs. Lee, has been busy making updates, registering new students, preparing for staff professional development, and sorting the new math program materials.

All of them have worked very hard to have everything “just right” when students return to school. Special thanks to each of them for doing an excellent job over the hot, summer months!
