Welcome to Blackstone-Millville Regional School District and our rapidly improving website. We are making changes to make our website easier to use with updated content and we welcome your comments as we work to make our website work for all in our educational community.

Books, baseball, beach, and budgets; April is exciting for many reasons. Our seniors are seeing the culmination of many years of hard work with college acceptances and the many activities planned between now and Graduation on June 2, 2017. Spring fever has a different definition for each of us but all students need to remain focused on the pursuit of academic excellence. Please finish strong and continue to make good choices.

April brings Opening Day and the Marathon, school vacation, and a freshness in the air that can only mean winter is in the rearview mirror and summer beckons. There are also town elections, board and committee meetings and annual town meetings that will dictate how resources will be allocated for the next fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017. It is important that Millville residents attend the Millville Annual Town Meeting on Monday May 8, 2017 at 7pm at Millville Elementary School and that Blackstone residents attend the Blackstone Annual Town Meeting on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at 7pm at the Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. There is also a Special Town Meeting for Blackstone residents to be held on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at the High School. It is so important that all residents have the opportunity to share in the decision making as to how town revenue is spent making attendance so important.

My best wishes to all for a spring filled with revitalization, the pursuit of new opportunities, and success for all in the BMR educational community. Carpe Diem.
