nIn this unit students learn about Engineering Design, Construction Technologies, energy and Power Fluid systems and Energy and Power- Electrical Systems. Students will explore some of the basic principles of air conditioning, construction design, construction measuring, plumbing, electrical wiring, gas welding, small engines, cement construction, masonry, drywall, and tiling. To test their acquired knowledge students, in teams of two will practice each of these trades at a work cell. In addition, students will answer written questions related to the work performed as well as career relater questions. Unit materials will be presented by means of lecture, workbook, demonstrations, and hands-on-activities.
