BMRSD has approved the roll-out of Chromebook to all Freshmen and Sophomore students (beginning in January of 2017). The implementation of a 1:1 program creates a learning environment where students have continuous access to technology, leading to increased academic achievement.
BMRSD's commitment to continued research and review by administrators, teachers, and support for families will extend to professional development and workshops. We ask ALL FRESHMEN AND NEWLY ENROLLED HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS/GUARDIANS to attend a 1:1 Chromebook workshop held on July 25th or August 8th (9:00-10:00am) in the high school library. Students/Guardians who cannot make this workshop will be issued a Chromebook during the first week of school. Any Student Enrolled at BMR High School can apply for the 1:1 program at anytime or opt to Bring their own device.
**Note Chromebooks cannot be picked up unless the Program Consent / Participation Form has been Completed. Students opting to BYOD (bring your own device) must also complete the Program Consent / Participation Form.
